Ricardo Rojas Soto
Ricardo Rojas Soto considers Grupo Nutresa an ally in his business’s growing process. Thanks to this relationship, which has grown stronger over the years, this entrepreneur has achieved levels of development he never even imagined. Today, Ricardo dreams about progressing and advancing much further hand in hand with Grupo Nutresa.
In Costa Rica, 45 kilometers from San José, there is a production plant that is unique in the context of the country. Innovo is a pasteurized liquid egg factory that was founded six years ago thanks to the initiative of Ricardo Rojas Soto and Mario Naranjo Guzmán. In 2018, Innovo was selected as Grupo Nutresa’s Exemplary Supplier in the SME category; the reason? Its high level of both commitment and efficiency.
These two young men put their production plant into operation without prior technical knowledge on the subject. Today, they employ 25 people and, in addition, have a development project that consists in purchasing the egg production from neighboring local producers. The key to their growth has been the care for the details, focusing on offering a differentiated high-quality product, as well as the opportunity to serve companies like Grupo Nutresa, which has believed in them and listened to them even before their production plant started operating. They now dream about strengthening this relationship so that it allows them to take their innovative product to other countries.
